"Big expectations and a high pedigree. It is always exciting to see what Audeze will produce next due to their ongoing march towards advancing tech and user experience, while not just simply relying on the next product cycle to sell their latest shiny thing. The changes here are real, and pretty outstanding. The level headed response and uber high resolution makes these headphones great for monitoring and well as pleasure seeking playback. The new lighter design and ear pads make for a higher degree of comfort than any other LCD before it. And for those who care, the case is really nice as well. Highly recommended."

In all, I would highly recommend the Audeze LCDi3 IEMs to anyone on the hunt for some audiophile quality headphones that don't cost over $1,000. Believe me when I say you can spend a lot more to get headphones with similar performance. With a sound quality to genuinely shout about, these headphones represent an excellent investment. Just be careful with them!

The LCD-X is an incredible headphone that wows with its detail, instrument separation, and imaging. The LCD-X is a headphone that just sounds confident in its technicalities and it responds incredibly well to EQ. From music producers to music lovers, the LCD-X can satisfy anyone looking for excellent sound.

Not only is the midrange well nuanced and textured, but it benefits from the fantastic speed of the new driver and you really get a feel for just how cleanly instruments are separated and transients are resolved when you feed the LCD-5 a piece of music other headphones stumble on... If you’re looking to build a state-of-the-art headphone system, the LCD-5 is a mandatory audition for sure.

Out there somewhere are folks that really do find themselves in the middle of the Venn diagram circles of 'videogame fans' and 'audiophiles' - for those such people I imagine the LCD-GX is already on their radar and is definitely worth some consideration. The value to those folks already attuned to such high-grade audio is definitely tangible here. Especially if the headset is used in quiet spaces and primarily for single-player games - this would be the perfect fit; even for its MSRP.
