The earcups are handcrafted with smooth, flawless genuine leather with carefully matched, hand-picked earpads for best sound and maximum comfort. The headband fits everyone and contributes to the superb long-term comfort. The SINE is made in the USA with imported and US-made parts at our Southern California factory.

Great neutral sound!

"I love the way these project the sound. So natural. That fact outweighs the fact that they are heavy (headband slips of head when you look down or lay down), they slip of because you have to maximize the length of the adjustable earpiecearms(?) so the clamp is bearable on my head. The earpadleather let loose on the inside so the foam is exposed. I found sheepskin and artifical replacement options on Amazon. The proprietary cable (I have the non-lightning version) is tearing at the jack side. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find a replacement for that, nor a Lightning version to date on the internet. If anyone has a suggestion or maybe Audeze has some leftover parts, I would like to know! So with all those flaws, I still rate them 5 stars, because of the class of sound reproduction, which is most important to me. Other headphones I use are mainly HD-version Sennheisers (598/650(Drop)/Momentum 1&2/589(Drop)), Grado 325e, Shure SRH-840. These mentioned pairs are my best headphones, bested by the Audeze Sine soundwise!"
