"I got these headphones a little over a month ago and I think they are great. I use them when I play Hunt Showdown and the audio quality is just superb. I was worried about the weight and overall comfort of wearing them considering reviews I had seen about the previous iteration but I have no complaints, they are pretty comfortable and the adjustable head strap keeps it on my head well enough."

The audio is beyond anything else I have owned and my previous headset was the arctis pro that my dog chewed up. Also owned corsairs and nothing compares to these. My only complaint is how easy some of the buttons on the headset are to hit and change the settings. I accidentally will turn off features from barely brushing the headset."

Whether I’m gaming, listening to music, or watching movies, the audio is incredibly detailed and immersive. The planar magnetic drivers deliver a level of clarity and depth that I haven’t experienced with any other wireless headset. Battery life is phenomenal. I rarely have to think about charging it, which is a huge improvement over many wireless headsets I’ve owned in the past. The build quality feels premium and durable, and the comfort is excellent for long gaming sessions. The microphone quality is also very good, making communication clear and natural. What impressed me most is that this headset isn’t just a great gaming headset—it’s a genuinely great set of headphones. Music sounds fantastic, and it has become my go-to audio device for almost everything. Audeze has created something special with the Maxwell 2. "I have both the Maxwell 1 and 2. One of the gripes I have with both is you can’t choose between the dongle connection or Bluetooth if both are connected at the same time. It defaults to the dongle. So I was excited when the new version came out for the upgrades, but also having an extra headset for a separate Bluetooth connection. Overall, both headsets sound awesome, but I was a tad disappointed in the comfort department. I expected the new version to be more comfortable, but in my opinion they are less comfortable and is the reason for four stars instead of five. It looks like they tried to make the pads have a larger opening to be more over-ear, but it resulted in the pads being thinner in both width and depth. I’m more aware of the clamping pressure and overall just aren’t as comfortable for longer sessions."

"Heavy to hold but not heavy to wear (interestingly enough). Havent had any issues with the weight after wearing them for 8 hours straight. They sound great, even though i havent had the chance to mess with the eq settings for xbox. My online friends say the mic works great as well which is the main reason i blew so much $$ for this headset. I have a return order in works for this headset cuz i cant decide between keeping it or returning it so i can just do a complex (annoying) sep fifine microphone/headphones setup. leaning towards keeping these tho since my microphone sounds gooood. I have a week or two to decide!"
"When I got them after waiting for a while I really wasn't a fan. . I was hearing a static popping noise, then put in for a return on them. I tried them again with a different way to connect the dongle (using the adapter) and sure enough. Fixed the issue(connection issue). After this newest update they are incredible sound even better than before. I do recommend them."
