Works

"Would much prefer the (plastic?) coating over the braided fabric coating, but it works and that's what matters. Same excellent sound quality, just a minor tactile pet peeve."

Terrible quality for overpriced cable & mic

"The fact they used to charge under $100 for this cable, which is still excessive given the parts being used and the quality of the mic; charging $180 is outrageous. The cable is 20% of the total cost of the headphones? I had these break twice so far and I refuse to pay for them again."

Mic is annoying

"Please release better cable without microphone. Same connection. Mic is annoying."

Good microphone, but fragile cable

"The microphone quality is very good for a headset boom mic, as is the quality of the accessories like the splitter and the TRRS adapter. The presentation quality is also very good. Unfortunately, the cable is very weak at the mini-XLR strain reliefs, and starts cutting out in at least one channel after 10 or so months. Audeze have replaced the cable under warranty for me multiple times without issue, but multiple cables shouldn't be dying within the 1 year mark in the same way. I'm now on my 5th cable, and have taken to having a rotating spare so I can avoid downtime waiting for a replacement, even though doing that is pushing me out of the warranty window. The cable rarely leaves my desk and is never tightly wound. I would really like to see a product revision that dramatically improves the strength at the mini-XLR strain reliefs, and makes the cable more resistant against the bending and tugging that comes with normal use."

Not good

"Love my headset hate the microphone this is my third microphone they always break and the cord always whines itself and then breaks. I treat mine with care not a scratch on the headset and the microphone is 330 dollars plus shipping Canadian to boot"

It got lost in post unfortunately

"It got lost in post unfortunately Was wondering if you could help me get another one on discount. It’s been a frustrating experience as I love my headset but disappointed that I needed new cable then frustrated that it got lost in post . 😢😤 Love your headset though ❤️"

Too expensive for poor quality.

"These are the main gripe of my headphones. The mics aren't good quality and the cord is not braided like the other ones which came with my LCD-GX headphones. Durability-wise, they are poor quality. After owning mine for about a year or two, the cord seems damaged from normal wear and tear. I don't do anything abusive and nothing happened, but the the sound now cuts in and out if I move the cord around. I understand I have an expensive audiophile headset but regularly replacing a $180 cord is kind of rediculous. I just sit at my desk and play games, nothing crazy."

Does the job but not great product quality

"I’ve owned this microphone for about a year now and the cord has started to stop working. They cut in and out if I move my head too far or even bump the cord. Same thing happened to my old cord that I replaced with this one"
