Ultra High Purity Adaptable Balanced Cable

The LCD-4z cable is specially tuned with directional OCC high-purity copper strands that provide a low capacitance and low resistance path for the signal to travel from your amp to the drivers, maintaining unsurpassed clarity and precision. It comes standard with an XLR teminated cable for a balanced system or use it with the single ended adapter.

Audio Perfection

"These headphones are a beyond incredible listening experience. It's like listening in a Mastering Studio strapped on your head. Level of detail is immaculate! Zero added color, dynamics/freq perception/stereo perception is out of this world. First headphones where I've had where the things pushed so far out they're out of phase feels like is actually coming from behind my head (not spatial audio, just stereo listening). I'm hearing tiny intricate details in reference tracks I know like the back of my hand that I din't hear before. Things like analog noise, clipping/distortion, tiny artifacts in the Mix I didn't notice before. Ex: Beginning of one of the biggest Hip hop albums of last year, it starts out with heavily psychedelic effected Vox. I could her the tiniest of a tinnitus like ring that happens for a few seconds in the beg. It's probably around 12-15kHz, and extremely quiet (maybe -75-85dB). I never heard that on my PMCs, but I heard it in these headphones! It's Exactly the way the music should sound, with the most pristine clarity imaginable. My vocals are going to be so polished you could eat of them now. MUCH love to Audeze for this truly incredible design! If you're looking for headphones for Mixing and Mastering, or want to the best there is to offer, the 4zs are the way!"

Glorious and revealing

"The 4Z are a wonderful, world-class professional headphone with the tuning of a large system with subs in a great room. They are miraculously fast and detailed, especially when one considers their weighty, almost physical and speaker-like presentation. They provide a tonne of useful information from a recording but without ever FEELing overly analytical or out of step with speaker or even sound-system playback. For me this balance is great for my work, as it allows me to keep one eye on the emotiveness and scale of the big picture whilst still being able to tell a beneficial processing move from a detail-impairing one. The 4 series phones have a reputation for a dark signature, and while they are certainly not 'bright sounding' - actually I've found that they accentuate the differences in tonal balances between different recordings very well whilst leaving surprisingly little of their own footprint. A dark recording will sound dark, a bright one will sound bright, one with extremely focussed mid-range will sound focussed just so. This may sound obvious, but I truly feel these relative differences more on the 4z than I have with any other headphone. And vitally - if the recording and mix are well balanced and clear for that style of presentation, I will also hear that precisely. I feel like I am both able to do detailed work, but also enjoy listening to well recorded + mastered music on these headphones."

"ADZ LCD4z are my first planars. First impresion after dynamic is there is completely no static sound in between every song. Then in in the beginnig there was no bass. But headphones had to “burn in” and bass arrived."
