The ultimate case! Audeze’s LCD-5 custom-built premium aluminum case features a weatherproof and durable design. This case fits many other headphones, including our other LCD-series headphones. With the Maxwell, it’s a little tight, but it does fit. We have tested the fit with the Sennheiser HD600 series, HIFIMAN HE-6 SE, and Dan Clark Audio Ether C. Other comparably sized models from those brands should fit as well.

Now that's a case!

"I love this case. I bought it for my Maxwell 2's. I wasn't sure how it was going to fit because I couldn't find any reviews stating whether or not the newer Maxwell 2's fit in it. But I took a chance based on the fact that the original Maxwell's did. I'm glad I did. They are in there snug as a bug in a rug! There's no doubt the case is big and bulky. But do I feel like my headphones are protected well? Heck yeah! This case gives you piece of mind. It looks indestructible! It looks like something you would see in a movie where a scientist is handing off a new miracle cure to someone. Or a secret agent is handing off a new piece of spy tech! That's what I feel like carrying it around. Like a secret agent! 😂 I love it! I'm including photos showing my Maxwell 2's in it. I Just in case (pun intended) someone else is wondering about the fit."

Additional photo

"I did a review on this case and said I included photos of my Maxwell 2's in it. But only one photo attached. And it didn't show the headphones in it. So I'm doing another submission with the photo of the headphones in it."

Excellent

"I was surprised as to the professional appearance and quality of this case. My Maxwell fit nicely and securely inside. I'm confident as to the protection it will provide."

Strong, light and good looking!!! headphone case

"This is an excellent headphone travel and storage case for your bigger headphones. Add value to those second hand headphones you are selling by adding an after market headphone case today for your Audeze and other ... Sennheiser, ZMF, not DCA might be a stretch though, perhaps ok for Meze ... headphones! Works well with larger headphones from other brands too!"

AUDEZE TRAVEL CASE

"Excellent aluminum construction, well made to last forever. Easy to modify precut dense soft foam rubber. One friend I told about it bought three. Super value at the special sale price event."

Just "IN" Case

"Very nice Headphone case, sturdy and very attractive. Although I'm not using mine for a pair of Audeze it does work great for many different headphones as I have my Senn 600 series in mine;-)"

Fits the Maxwell like a glove

"The description makes it sound like you'll need to struggle to get the Maxwell to fit inside, but that wasn't my experience. It fit perfect with no problems. I'd wait until it goes on sale again, though. I got mine at a steep discount, and I think I'd be less satisfied with it if I'd paid full price."

Great case

"I got lucky and purchased this case on a very large discount, very well made, sturdy, foam cutouts for headphones and accessories"

Lane G. (5/5)

Good case

"Good case overall even though my unit came with sticky residue on the hinges. I fixed it with some Goo-Gone. Not a great experience given that this case normally costs $175. It was on sale for $39 when I bought it so that makes the QC issues more palatable."

It's not bad.

"It's not bad for the sale price I got it for. But as a full price case, not sure if it's worth it. Mine came with part of the foam detached inside. I had to glue it again to keep it steady."
