Max Dowling is a producer, mix and mastering engineer, originally from Melbourne and now based in London. Beginning his musical career as an improvising saxophonist, Max’s experience spans across an incredibly broad array of musical styles, with an impressive depth to his understanding of the idioms he has worked within. It is this breadth and depth that informs Max’s creative and technical process: “I believe that all styles of music can be drawn on to inform one another, and similarly, all stages of the musical process, from musical inception to mastering, can and do inform one another.”
