How did you get started in music? What kind of music did you listen to while growing up and how has that progressed?

I started singing at the age of 3. Both my parents are avid listeners and are very fond of music, although neither of them is a musician. They saw my inclination towards music and encouraged me to learn and perform from the very beginning. In the initial years I was primarily listening to various forms of Indian music (classical, ghazals, sufi music). Later I got exposed to various artists from the West that I truly admire like Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Charlie Puth, to name a few. Arabic music also has had a huge impact on me lately.

Can you name any factors that influenced the course of your musical life? Heroes, role models, moments, interactions, etc?

My parents are the wind beneath my wings. My biggest source of inspiration. The list of artists that have inspired me is extremely long. A R Rahman Sir, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan Sahib, Lata Ji, Mariah Carey, Sunidhi Chauhan, Jacob Collier, Sia, Christina Aguilera, Arijit Singh, Ajay - Atul, Shankar Ehsan Loy and many more.

Is there any gear you find yourself turning to most when working on a project? What are some of your favorite tools/instruments recently?

Alesis Vortex wireless 2 Keytar Logic Pro X And now my new Audeze Maxwell Closed Backs.

Do you have any words of wisdom for people who might aspire toward a similar path for their own careers?

Embrace curiosity, persist through challenges, and cultivate a growth mindset. Continuously learn, adapt, and step outside your comfort zone. Success often comes from a combination of dedication, passion, and the willingness to learn from failures.

How long have you been working with headphones, and how do you typically use them in your workflow?

I rarely work with studio monitors. Headphones are my comfort zone for some reason. I take them along wherever I am traveling for work. From recording vocals to editing and processing them, headphones are an integral part of my workflow.

How have your Audeze headphones affected your work? Can you tell us what you've been working on with them recently?

I love them!! They are extremely easy to use because they are wireless. They sound like a dream!! Unparalleled audio experience in the true sense!! (Also, I have the ultraviolet ones and they look damn cool!!) I have to use headphones for long hours. These are extremely comfortable and less fatiguing. I am writing  original compositions lately using the Audeze Maxwell.
