Marlku is a music producer, mixing engineer and composer from Argentina. He releases his own music under his own name, and works with rising stars from the Argentinian music scene.Â
Â
Hablamos Poco Hacemos Mucho from Seven Kayne & Duki, Pintao from Duki & Ysy A & Rei, Muriendome from Duki & Khea.Â
I produce, arrange, and sometimes write and mix the songs I'm involved with.
I started my relationship with music in punk rock bands as a teenager. Then bought my first laptop and started producing some beats and loops for myself. I listened to pop punk and nu metal a lot, and those genres still are a huge influence nowadays in some of my beats.
I think having worked with Duki and Khea are big milestones in my career. Kanye West would be something close to a hero in my approach with music and style in general.
Inspiration is everywhere, only sometimes it takes longer and requires more energy so there is no frustration if you are in the path of creativity.
I love my Moog Minitaur and my Arturia Analog Lab V, those are my go-to friends in the studio.
Work hard, trust your vision and listen to different kinds of music.
Headphones are key in my workflow, I use them while recording, mixing and I usually keep a couple of different sounding pairs for check my work.
I wanted to thank Javier Fracchia, a mentor in the world of sound for me and a lot of colleagues, for linking me up with such a big brand as Audeze. And thanks to Soundlux Audio in Miami, where I got the headphones.
Definitively. I'm always traveling and working on camps so the LCD-2C are the perfect choice to go. I love the tones and I really feel I can rely on them.
I mixed some songs already, and my album 555+. 'Fernet' from Quevedo and Rei and some projects we are working on with Cazzu.
