Okay but Lots of Background Noise

"The headset is very comfortable. Battery life is great. Wireless range with USB dongle is okay, could be better. The largest issue is that there is a ton of background noise. When there is no sound coming through, you can clearly hear lots of sound, almost like consistent rain pattering on glass. Even when you do have audio coming through, if that audio is not consistent and loud, this pattering still comes through! Very disappointed considering how much this product costs. Also, yes, I tried using the aux cable to connect instead of the USB dongle, and the sound was still present."

Great but not as comfortable as originals

"I have both the Maxwell 1 and 2. One of the gripes I have with both is you can’t choose between the dongle connection or Bluetooth if both are connected at the same time. It defaults to the dongle. So I was excited when the new version came out for the upgrades, but also having an extra headset for a separate Bluetooth connection. Overall, both headsets sound awesome, but I was a tad disappointed in the comfort department. I expected the new version to be more comfortable, but in my opinion they are less comfortable and is the reason for four stars instead of five. It looks like they tried to make the pads have a larger opening to be more over-ear, but it resulted in the pads being thinner in both width and depth. I’m more aware of the clamping pressure and overall just aren’t as comfortable for longer sessions."

"Bought it on first day. dont make the same mistake then me. its bugged. random disconects from the dongle. sounds out of no where when no sound is playing. the hissing in the background makes me crazy. random piep sounds im very disappointed and now i must pay 20$ to send it back thank u audeze"

Great headset/great mic quality

"Heavy to hold but not heavy to wear (interestingly enough). Havent had any issues with the weight after wearing them for 8 hours straight. They sound great, even though i havent had the chance to mess with the eq settings for xbox. My online friends say the mic works great as well which is the main reason i blew so much $$ for this headset. I have a return order in works for this headset cuz i cant decide between keeping it or returning it so i can just do a complex (annoying) sep fifine microphone/headphones setup. leaning towards keeping these tho since my microphone sounds gooood. I have a week or two to decide!"

At first I wasnt sure of them

"When I got them after waiting for a while I really wasn't a fan. . I was hearing a static popping noise, then put in for a return on them. I tried them again with a different way to connect the dongle (using the adapter) and sure enough. Fixed the issue(connection issue). After this newest update they are incredible sound even better than before. I do recommend them."

Best sound, worst comfort

"These headphones have excellent sound. Watching movies and playing games is a pure joy. But unfortunately, no sound quality can save headphones that are impossible to wear. I can excuse the weight, and I can excuse the lack of simultaneous Bluetooth and dongle audio. But I cannot justify these incredibly uncomfortable and terrible earpads. Sitting in them is impossible. They are so wide that the headphones slide around on your head, yet so shallow that your ears press and rub against the driver's back wall. After just 30 minutes, you just want to take them off. And there is no alternative available for them. I have never seen earpads this uncomfortable in any headphones, even the cheapest ones."

Order Delay and Lack of Response

"I purchased Xbox headphones on January 15, and to this day I have received no updates, no shipping information, and no apologies for the delay. I still have not received my headphones. Additionally, the message I sent to your support team five days ago remains unanswered. This reflects a крайне disrespectful attitude toward the customer, and I am very disappointed with the level of service."

Replaced gaming and music headset

"I've never considered myself an audiophile, but I know what good sound is. Family was always focused on quality in this way. I honestly thought my $500 high end over-ear headphones were great until I put these on. The separation of each frequency by the planar drivers is amazing. Music sounds much clearer, and gaming with shooters and footsteps blows my mind."
