Jonah Jurick, otherwise known as Hei$t, began his artistic journey attending the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival every year since before his first birthday. Inspired by watching his dad play the drums, Hei$t started writing songs at the age of 12 and taking vocal lessons at 13. Hei$t embodies melodic rap and alternative pop music, taking influence from the likes of Kid Cudi, Leon Bridges, and Mac Miller.
