Simultaneous Mobius connection to Bluetooth and another source

Greetings Traveler! Thanks to the miracles of modern technology, it’s now possible to listen via USB or AUX on Mobius, and simultaneously place or receive phone calls from a paired Bluetooth mobile device that is compatible with such functions. We have successfully tested a plethora of current mobile devices from such luminary manufacturers as Apple, Google, Sony, Razer, Samsung, Motorola, etc, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device in the known (or unknown) universe.

Once your mobile device is paired via Bluetooth (see the article on how to do that here), you can change the input source (plug in a cable and/or double-click the 3D Button) to listen to your preferred source. Then:

  • If you want to place a call, pick up your paired mobile device and place the call normally. You may be asked by your device to choose which output device you want to use.
  • If your paired device receives an incoming call, it will ring through on Mobius and you can choose to answer on the device itself or by a click of Mobius’ Power Button. (Note: You may also decline the incoming call with a 3-second press of Mobius’ Power Button. Please leave a message after the beep.)

Once the call is placed or answered, your previous audio connection will drop in level slightly and the phone call will take priority volume level. Mobius’ microphone will similarly be re-routed to the call over Bluetooth, and microphone audio should not be output to your other connection source.

After the call is ended, audio should then return to normal, with your previous connection source at previous volume and the microphone providing its output to that source. It’s just like nothing ever happened, and we provide a hearty congratulations to you for your ability to bend the space/time continuum!

If you have any additional questions regarding your Mobius, please peruse the other support articles located in our Help Center.  If you cannot find the answer you seek there, please feel free to contact us directly at support@audeze.com.
